Introduce your students to nature and customized programming to reinforce TEKS-aligned science concepts.
Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center offers exciting field trips and academic programs that strengthen students’ science process skills. Programs can include interactive hikes, scientific journals, animal encounters, and kayaking. We introduce thousands of students to the outdoors each school year. Through hands-on learning, science concepts are reinforced while students find an appreciation for and understanding of local ecosystems and wildlife adaptations.
Our Eco Investigations and Aquatic Adventures programs are correlated with TEKS core curriculum standards. These programs can be customized to your TEKS needs.
Our A la Carte option allows educators to create a non-TEKS program as short as 30-minutes or covering several hours and can combine free self-guided options. See our Program Request Form for more details and to reserve.
We can also work with you to create overnight programs, either indoors or camping outdoors. Or we can come to you. Contact us with your needs and ideas so we can provide options and pricing.
We accept Learning Partners vouchers from Big Thought.
